I recently installed ZoneAlarm extreme. before installing it, my computer was fine; running fast and efficiently.

After installing it......SLOW SLOW SLOW.........and the Windows error "Cannot find C file boot ini " keeps coming up. As other forums have said, "You have a virus if you're getting that message."

How did I get a virus AFTER installing ZoneAlarm? I mean DIRECTLY after rebooting??????

How can I fix it?

I defragmented and cleaned up my computer. How can I make it run faster? Of course the C drive is 90% full but was before installation and had no problems then...
