IE8, IE7 not displaying Java script or adsense ads?

works perfectly in Mozilla Firefox

AOL Browser has same problem but it uses IE8 settings.

Ive tried:
installing and uninstalling IE8 and IE7
Deleted Internet Cache
Reset the browser to factory defaults
enabled Java addons within browser
Check enable java script it checked (security setting)(scripting for Java applets)
I have no ad blockers

Im using AVG 9 free
Windows XP home 32bit
