Hello folks, was curious if i can or if its even worth upgrading a AMD Athlon 64x2 4200. Motherboard is M2NBP-VM CSM. If i can upgrade i wouldn't mind gettin a new videocard too, BFG 7900 feels kinda slow haha.

any help appreciated, thanks.

When you want to upgrade, what do you want to upgrade for? Gaming? Media? Downloads? ext....

You also need to consider whether you will want to upgrade again in the near future? If its going to be expensive to upgrade and only gain a small improvement might be worth bighting the bullet and getting a new system.

What's your price range?

As far as my price range goes if i'm going to buy, its going to be this right here. I wouldn't mind getting back into fps games.
