I feel like I'm being restricted by my computer because of these errors. This happened a few days after I have installed Windows 7 64-bit.
First, I try to install Windows Live Messenger, along with a few other things, but I get some kind of installation corruption error.

Then, this started happening after I installed Microsoft Office 2007 and updating it:

I've looked on google for solutions, but they did not help at all. All I found were instructions on scanning for viruses and updating the computer.
Are there any other methods to fix these?

This article would be of interest I think.

Read it all before use.
I had to go through all the uninstalls and then install the components I wanted.

Here is an earlier version of the same thing.
Although the first link is newer, you may want to look at both.

These helped me resolve 'Live' install problems by directly uninstalling all the components and starting over.
