hi all, iv'e got a bit of a problem........

i have a packard bell easyone dc laptop, and everytime i switch it on it shows hdd activity for a few seconds...then nothing. iv'e tried to boot with a floppy and a cd still nothiing and hothing showing on the screen either? also i noticed that the green z ( sleep i think ) light comes on as soon as i switch the laptop on and stays on .........

any ideas on how i can sort this would be great........
