Wierd problem...pls help

just bought a new acer aspire x3400, and whenever i go to the start menu then highlight something like skype, then click on the option in the task bar, it always directs me to the system 32 folder. This happens for all the options in the task menu.

When I click either option in the above pic, it goes to this:

What is causing this? It's not a huge deal, but I just hope that this won't affect over things in the computer.

NOTE: this also happens when i click on the task option for stickynotes, and getting started, so the problem probly is not skype.
