formatted friends computer, put on XP instead of ME (obvious)... put on cracked windows, which was dumb. i used an activation crack, and 30 days later he tries to log on and his computer says 'you must activate windows now' so he clicks yes, it says 'you have already activated windows' and takes him back to the log on screen. ongoing loop. anything i can do without erasing all his files and starting from scratch?
