Hello everyone,

DELL Studio Hybrid Desktop PC with VISTA

I have recently changed AntiVirus protection on this PC. I now have the avast free version installed.

I never had blue screen incident before the change of anti virus software. However, I've had two blue screens & auto shut down incidents since the change of Antivirus protection...one just a week ago, and another just a few minutes ago.

This time, I got this message,

Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown.

Problem details:

Locale ID: 1033

BCP2: 00000001
BCP3: 80000018
BCP4: 7F09BBFE
OS Version: 6_0_6002
Service Pack: 2_0
Product: 768_1

Files that help describe the problem:
C:\Windows\Minidump\Mini081110-01.dmp

C:\Users\computer1\AppData\Local\Temp\WER3DDA.tmp.version.txt

I have NO idea as what any of this means. But, I'm realy worried.

Your help would be much appreciated.

Thank you :)
