Lexmark Printer Problem

Hi, Im using Compaq Wf 1907 and It is connected to a Lexmark printer (Lexmark X204n) and Everytime we try to print something, We don't get any response. It stays "Ready" On the Printer screen. It is connected and the Computer has it downloaded and connected, everything is fine except it won't respond to the computers commands. If you can help, thanks.
