I do not know much about computers and my question is general. I have a store that the cash registers are computerized and they are accessed remotely by a tech. They need to be set up for an opening but everytime the tech accesses our computers she gets booted off within minutes, We have had two new modems burn out. surely the two new modems cant be both faulty. Is it possible having a short in her own computer and then when she accesses remotely she burns out OUR modems?
If anyone has any ideas or suggestions please let me know
