Sorry I have not posted back sooner been so busy.
Looks like I'm in the same boat you are I can not get the printer to share on the network too. I know I missed something! I'll be working on it today so when I get it working I will post back.

Hello Jfcap,

Please go to Control Panel>Network Connections
Right-click on the LAN connection, click properties.

In that window on both machines, check and make sure that the "Client for Microsoft Networks" is installed and the checkmark is there. Should be by default, but not always. If not, you need that. Sounds like it would be most likely needed on the machine that doesn't have the printer attached but check both to make certain. Also, I would try completely disabling the firewall until you get this working. Even with Printer sharing enabled on it, a firewall that you didn't build and is on could be doing more than you think...

Hi Everyone!

Both computers have it checked, and im not sure if it is installs, because Im not sure if I wanted to isntall Client, Service or Protocol.

The computers still can not talk to each other, meaning I cannot see files on the other computer, and the other computer cannot see files on mine.

I have to be missing one of the early steps I bet.

I got mine to share folder but still working on the printer seeing that its an HP PSC 1315v all-in-one its a pain to get it to work trying to find a driver to install that works is a job by itself.

Did you make the network disk and use it on the 2nd system to set it up? Are you sure the folders your looking to share are set to be shared?

I used the Microsoft setup wizard on the computer with the printer directly installed. I saved it to my jump drive and installed it on the second computer. I have folders set to share, but When I try to click on a computer I get an error message saying its not accessible.
