I've got a PC given to me and its got everything except the harddrives. I'm not sure of the specs as I've not switched it on yet (it does have an athlon64 sticker on it though).

I'm wondering about how to set up RAID1 on this setup without knowing anything about the system. So I'll be buying 2 harddrives... how then do I proceed? Just switch on the PC and let windows 7 do it's thing?

Hi domyue, the first thing you need to do is check if your MB has an onboard RAID controller.
You will find everything you need to know about RAID0 and RAID1 and how to set it up in the
