My computer is 3 years old and I have Windows Vista. I usually leave my computer on 24 hrs. Last night when i attempted to access the internet, my monitor screen started fading out. The picture would flash from picture then to black. when it flashes constantly, i noticed the picture fades to black and then back to normal color picture. I also noticed that it clears up after a few minutes. It seems to only so this when the computer is loading. Can you help?

Hi holbeing :) sorry to hear you are having this issue.
You need to provide more information about your computer, is it
a laptop or a desktop, custom built or a branded name such as
Dell or HP, if it is provide the model name or number if you can
provide the MB details that would be better, the more info that
you can provide will enable others to help you better.
From the symptoms you describe it is possibly a failing psu (when
under load) can you swap it for a known good one or get yours
tested by a suitably qualified person, if the psu checks out ok
it could possibly be the gfx card next.
I would make a point of getting the psu given the all clear before
any more testing because if it is failing and goes completely it
could take all your other hardware with it.
