Missing URL's

I am no longer able to find URL's in my browser bar, nor am I able to copy URL's when trying to post a picture from my Picasa web album. Although it says "copy URL" no URL is SHown. This is driving my crazy. I never had this trouble until two weeks ago, and I am at a loss to understand what started it. Can anyone please help?
