I feel really stupid for having to post this.

I started reformatting a friend's old XP laptop, so I deleted the hard drive partitions and did a full NTFS reformat. Finally, when windows booted back up and asked for the product key found on the sticker, I looked on the bottom of the laptop to discover it has no stickers at all! Now his original windows installation is gone, and I don't know how I can get it back on there. Is there still a way to restore the old partition? Or would anything else work here?
