I've been trying to install a trial/evaluation copy of Rhino 4 but during the installation I get the error message:
Error 1935: An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'policy.8.0.Microsoft.VC80.MFC,version=''8.0.50727.4053'',type=''win32-policy'',publicKeyToken=''1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b'',processorArchitecture="x86'". Please refer to Help and Support for more information.
I can't find a solution to this problem.
At first I thought this was a Malware problem because my computer had been extremely slow and froze constantly. As a result, I visited the "Virus, Spyware & Malware Removal" subforum of this site, and all my computer problems have since been solved by a fantastic staff member. But when I told him of this particular ongoing issue, he advised me that the error might be caused by an issue between a third party program and background programs running on my computer, and that I should come here to ask for some help. So would someone be able to be of assistance please?
