Mouse Trouble

I recently bought a wireless mouse for my PC and it worked fine for a few weeks. Then the roller stopped working, followed by the clicker. I plugged in the old mouse, and that doesn't work right either. I can move the curser (slowly) but it is accompanied by a buzzing noise that comes out of the computer tower. It started the same time that I got a bug (see Windows ME - "Infected" topic for that whole deal, you guys helped me out there) Any ideas?
