So i just completed my first build. I followed instructions word for word, was very careful with the mobo, and double checked that i plugged everything in correctly. When i plugged in the psu a green light on the motherboard lights up but absolutely nothing happens. The processors fan doesnt even spin. I also hooked up the external fans to the psu and they wont spin either. Is this a problem with the psu? please help me out. I am at a complete loss for what to do

these are what i used to build the computer.

Hi there newbtoob, only the links to your psu and case work.

The processors fan doesnt even spin

Is the 12V 4pin CPU connection plugged into the MB securely (2 yellow/2 black wires)
Also make sure that the CPU fan is plugged into the fan header on the motherboard.

I also hooked up the external fans to the psu and they wont spin either

What external fans are we talking about? Case fans usually plug into headers on the
motherboard and with the link for the MB not working I can`t check it out.
