Hello,

I have a problem with Outlook Express Problem

My email messages (charlesjr account) are not displayed as they used to. All messages look like text files. Messages containing ads, e.g., those from Best Buy or Hewlett-Packard look like text files with links in them and/or attachments.

First time this was noticed was 8/17/2010, 1:12 PM.
Last previous normal display of charlesjr email was 8/17/2010, 11:32 AM. At that time I moved some messages between folders. Then, a new message arrived from Hewlett-Packard. When I openned it it was in plain text with links and an attachment instead of the HP page I used to get. When I openned the attachment an Internet Explorer openned to HP page.

Could not find a problem like this one in geekstogo forums.

Please help.
chally

Hello,
I found the cause of my problem.
On the Outlook Express>Tools > Options > Read tab, "Read all messages in plain text" was Checked.
Unchecked it. => All's well.
I must have done that inadvertantly.
Thanks anyway.
chally.
