You say you uninstalled and reinstalled the software by that do you mean the drivers or is it only the software, on some webcam models the software installation option does not include the drivers those must be installed separately.

Just a question,
You say you uninstalled and reinstalled the software by that do you mean the drivers or is it only the software, on some webcam models the software installation option does not include the drivers those must be installed separately.
I checked the Cd and it says its the Driver Cd.I think the problem is with windows 7, it does not want to recognize the webcam,or i don't know, i am very confused

Make sure your webcam is not plug.
Shut down your computer
Unplug the power cord from the wall and remove your battery
press and hold the start button for 5 second
Put back the battery and plug it in the wall
Reinstall your driver and program for your webcam
when it asks you to plug your webcam in the usb port try to plug it in a different usb port then where it was before if you can.
Hopefully Windows 7 will now recognize your webcam.
