Hi Folks. I've a real annoying problem. When I open up Windows Explorer and open "My Videos" or the folder I created called "Videos" when this problem began. Thinking that by chance it was a problem with the default folder. Anyhow, when I open up this folder it takes about 3 seconds and I get this message " The instruction at "0x00b938ba" references memory at "0x00dd7b18" the memory could not "read"

Then I get the Error Report, which I send but, I don't get a reply. I then open up IE 6 to see if perhaps this will facilitate a response at which point I get this message " Runtime Error 216 at 00b938ba"

Much thanks, bruce

Hello and welcome to Geeks to Go. Can you open the videos with another program, such as Windows Media Player?

Do you have it set to display in thumbnail view?
Most likely one of the videos is corrupted and when trying to display the thumbnail, it crashes.
