Hi everyone,
I started having problems with my pc a few days ago. It was put on stand by, and when I pressed the button to start it, it showed just the black screen. After restart, the bios wouldn't post, I received 1 long and 3 short beeps (video card error). Bought a new graphics card and installed it, but now I receive no beeps at all, just the black screen. When I pull out RAM memory, I receive beeps. To make the problem worse, the bios would post sometimes and start windows normally, but after restart or shut down it won't do it for some time.
I checked the temperatures, the motherboard is around 40 degrees celsius, and the graphics card is around 50, which I think is ok.
I have no idea what's going on with my pc, please help.
Thanks in advance,
Voja

Flaky/failing PSU? I'd try another, known-good, and see if it solves the problem.

Award bios beep code

I would look at PSU and the Memory.
