Further to my post when I go to 'Other Wireless networks' it says Windows cannot configure this connection!!!! And keeps referring to MKBase 871122

Just yesterday I had a similar problem relating to the problem with not being able to aquire a network address (related to the security protocols), and the problem was solved via a little help from the owners of the device that I was using at the time (a Verizon Jetpack 4GLTE Mobile Hotspot 890L), which I believe not only serves as an Internet connection but also as a router. The problem turned out to be caused by my older laptop PC running Windows XP not having the latest network security features installed yet from Microsoft. It didn't yet have WPA2-PSK that my Verizon wireless hotspot modem needed to correctly accept the "key," it thereby getting stuck with "Aquiring Network Address" at times...or otherwise asking for a 10 or more hex-digit key where I'd only received an 8 hex-digit key with the device. Once I'd installed the Microsoft Update, however, the problem disappeared with it then correctly accepting the 8-digit key and ever since then connecting up fine to this device, with no problems whatsoever getting to the Internet or anything else any longer. So I'm not sure what your operating system is, but you may want to look into this Microsoft Windows Update that had helped solve this problem for me...and perhaps more than one of you involved on this thread migh end up benefiting from it. The update is the Microsoft Windows Update: KB917021 (with my particular downloaded file from it being: 'WindowsXP-KB917021-v3-x86-ENU.exe').

So I hope that this will help at least the latest person's problem...
