Hello all,

I have an HP Mini 311 with Windows XP, it does not have a disc drive. I start up windows and I get an error message. I tried using last known good settings and starting it normally, it flashes a blue screen and then restarts. Safe mode/networking/command prompt don't work either. When loading, they stop at Mup.sys. Since my laptop doesn't have a disc drive, I don't know how I can get into my laptop. What do I do?

Thank you!

Sounds like you will need to try a repair install. You can create an XP install disc on a USB stick from another machine and use that for the repair install, check out this: http://www.eeeguides...-usb-thumb.html
