Okay, so I'm putting a rig together. First one since like '99. I feel like I've forgotten a lot of things and I'm having a lot of trouble picking components. My goal is to have a "future-proof" rig and something I can overclock. I've never overclocked before and want to learn. I'll mostly be playing games on this thing; and trying to learn linux. ANYWAY take a look please.

MOBO

CPU

RAM

I've read up on some other peoples rig and would see comments along the lines of "Why would you buy a nice mobo and put that kind of RAM into it" and just stuff like that. So I just REALLY want to make sure everything makes sense together when I purchase the components. Thanks a lot guys. I'd really appreciate anyone helpin me out!

Hi and welcome mate, sorry for the delay. That combo does look pretty nice to me, only problem is looking now at the RAM it is not in stock.

What other parts do you have in mind?
