i do not want to be host as everyone else lags when playing online games, but Im chosen as host a lot.
i read that if i disable upnp it will not chose me as host, is this true?
and if I disable it will it cause any problems with my computers?.

third question is even when i have my xbox in the dmz zone and i turn my internet firewall off, everyone lags, but with full green bars. so im wondering if there is something I can do to help with even distribution of packets?? if that makes sense...
my upload is 0.99mb/s and my ping says 40. should my ping not be higher??

my internet provider has admitted to traffic shaping with p2p connections, however I also have 2 friends with the exact same internet whom never have an issue with other players lagging or timing out. so im wondering if tech support on everyones end is missing a simple solution or something...
