Resently I wanted to make some room on my Toshiba laptop which runs Vista. I removed the trial version of Office 2007 and that is where the problems started.

I had a full version of Office 2003 which no longer works.
Video no longer works using Realplayer, Windoew Media Player does not open.
In ie8 I cannot view email or video. Auto complete no longer works.

I tried to roll back and do a restore. It did not work and I received an error. I also reinstalled ie8 that did not work.

I have Active x and Flash installed.

What do I need to do to restore video and my email?

I tried to roll back and do a restore. It did not work and I received an error.

Please provide the error message, I may be able to help you. Have you scanned for infections. I don't see how just removing Office 2007 can cause all of these issues. I did the same with my trial version, once it expired, with no issues.
