I have recently rebooted the whole system of windows xp because it was running slowly. I lost the driver for the:
Video Controller (Vga Compatible) and C-Media AC97 Audio Device
Now I am stuck in one resolution (800x600) and would like to change to (1024x768). Although every time I try to I get a message on my screen saying OUT OF RANGE. Please help me find drivers.

If your video is integrated unto the Motherboard you will need to go to the manufacturer of your MB to find your driver, if it is an add on video card then go either to the card manufacturer (ATI, NVIDIA) or go to OmegaDrivers.net to find the appropriate driver.

For your C-Media AC97 audio driver go to the motherboard manufacturer to find the appropriate drivers.

If you do not know what is the model of your motherboard download a system info program (AIDA32, Free Sisoft, ect) it will tell you what model and brand you have.

That Out of Range message is an issue with your monitor. Post a screenshot of your Device Manager.
