I'm trying to install XP on a computer. I just formatted the hard drive on a different computer. Now the hard drive is back in it's original system. I turn it on, put the XP installation disc in but the screen is blank. At no point has anything showed up on screen, not even the bios loading. The light on the monitor is green so that seems to be on and the fans are running on the machine.

I did this exact same process to an identical computer using the same XP disc a few days ago and that went fine. Any ideas what's wrong here?

Crisis averted, it turns out it was a monitor problem!
