making changes in Host file

Hello, im trying to make changes in my host file. i get a message saying " you do not have permission to save in this directory. see administrator to obtain permission. where can i fix my settings to override this?? i right click on notepad and run as admin and it shows owner is currently using is checked.

Try coping the file to your desktop make the changes and then copy the file back into the original location overwriting the original.
