I have a strange problem, I have quite a few USB devices (external hard drive, keyboard, mouse, wireless LAN USB, Logitech Headest, Xbox 360 gamepad) plugged into the various USB ports in my computer.
Up until now this has not been an issue, at least not until I got the wireless LAN USB wifi thing. Basically when I plug that in and I plug in the external hard drive it stops working, if it's plugged in and I load up a game it stops working. My theory is this is because of a lack of power, since when I run a game the GPU starts sucking up more power (and it's quite a thirsty GPU), and obviously when I have too many USB devices plugged in they're all sucking up some of that electricity.
I've already turned off the 'allow windows to disable this device to save power' option on the relevant USB ports in case that was the problem.
Any idea how I could fix it?
