I'm just curious,is that a limit to the number of program icons that you can have on the tool bar that is on the bottom right of your screen????
I currently have 11 but sometimes 1 or 2 of them disappear,I have to use the task manager to close the program and then I have to reopen the program to get the icon on the tool bar to come back.

That's a lot of icons chimchim! They are really slowing down your system. Van tell me all of them, so we can maybe slim it down? Or just post a HJT log and they'll be in there. You can just start those programs when you need them, they don't have to load on startup. Removing some wil really speed things up.

About them disappearing, XP is automatically hiding the icons that are inactive after a while. To change this, right click on the task bar, and hit properties. At the bottom, hit "customize" to tell XP which icons you want to see. If you always want to see them all the time, just uncheck the the box next to "Hide inactive icons".
