I'm trying to find a new 24-27 inch monitor. Everywhere I look there's great reviews and terrible reviews of every one I'm interested in. I can understand a bad egg in every batch, so I'm having a real problem finding one that doesn't have at least a few really scary horror stories. Most I can spend is $350. The brands I'm aiming for are Samsung, Hanns-G, LG, and Viewsonic. Opinions are more than welcome. Does anybody know where I can find testing reviews on monitors?

Hello,

I'm currently using a Samsung SyncMaster P2450 (24"). The monitor is nice, clear, clean. Got it from Costco for about $230... I think... might have been $229! Good monitor. No one can guarantee you will ever get a monitor that's trouble free. You drop your money, take your chances, return it if it's not right.
