I have an EMachine E4040 and Im trying to restore it to its original factory settings.
I haven't got any disks for it however there is a D drive on the computer that says Recovery.
After going onto the Recovery drive I selected System Restore however it just comes up with a warning: erase all data screen but nothing else happens, no programme loads or button for me to select to proceed.

Ive tried using the f10 and f11 button but f10- just says to load from a hard disk- cd option and gives no other instruction
F11 requires the CD which i dont have (or think it came with)

Is there anything I can do??? Please! any advice will be appreciated
Thanks so much
