I am currently using Windows XP SP2, i want to install Windows 2000 on another partition. Here it gets abit complicated.
My Windows 2000 installation files(i downloaded it) are all in a file in Windows XP, it does not allow me to install from inside Windows XP as XP is a newer verison. After trying to burn the files required to a CD-Rom and setting bootup for the my CD drive to be booted 1st when starting up, it just bypasses it and no setup occurs during that time, only reading of the burnt CD(guessed from the noise coming from the CD-burner).
What can i do to install Windows 2000 ?????
BTW thanks for all the help and taking the time to read about my problem
