I turned on my desktop today and I got as far as the "windows starting up" screen. Then I get a black screen and it does nothing. I ran some diagnostic tests and all errors were from SATA testing. Here are a FEW of the error codes I am getting:
Error Code 0F00:1344
Message: DISK - Block 5294592: Can't read, replace disk.

I get this same error with a lot of different block numbers.
I tried to start up in safe mode but the same thing happens.
I tried to start up under the last known good configuration, same thing happens.

I do not have the Windows 7 disk to re-intall, it came installed from Dell.

Anyone have ideas on how to fix this myself?

Sounds like you have a bad hard drive. You need to get the recovery disk from dell and replace your hard drive...
