OK, here is the issue, I have a silver G4, and have had it about 6 years. I have had the mother board replaced about a year ago as well as the battery. Now, it appears the battery is shot, but even when I am plugged in the mac screen goes blank after about 10 seconds. This just started. It boots up just fine, but when I try to do something the screen blanks out. I am thinking, perhaps the mother board went haywire again, and maybe a new battery is in oder... any thoughts? btw, I am running the latest OS
