Hi gang,

Working with a two month old laptop and would love some help.

Occasionally (as in a couple of times per week), the keypad will no longer type letters, only numbers, and only in certain programs. NumLock is NOT on. The numbers type sequentially no matter which keys I press, 0,1,2, etc. At the moment, I can type normally here, but I cannot type in the search bar at grooveshark.com. This has also happened on Excel. With Excel, the problem randomly would fix itself and begin again numerous times while I was doing my work. So far on grooveshark.com, even closing and re-opening it hasn't helped.

I have a Lenovo G550 operating Windows 7, 3.00 GB, Intel Celeron 32-bit. Besides, this, is runs great. Zero problems.

Any help?

Then it is still under warranty and I would recommend contacting the maker's tech support.
