When i try to run nortons find and fix options like windoc and diskdoc a box comes up and says unable to correctly identify the version of this operating system due to another application hooking and modifying the win32 version functions. program will now terminate. i dont know what to do i ran all my spysweeps and checkups but nothing is being found so i dont think its a virus. i originally had nortons 05 but it did it in that and a friend uninstalled that thinking that would work but it didnt so she installed norton systemworks 04 and that didn't work either. :tazz: I'm a novice and have no clue what to do.[email protected]

You must have, at one time, had an earlier version of symantec's products.
