Hello,
New poster, completed all the steps from the cleaning guide forum, but I keep getting the following error window on startup. Also, since it started my system is running significantly slower.

There was a problem starting \3\LXCYtime.dll
The specified module could not be found.

At first I thought it was a printer driver issue, so I deleted the old driver and installed the updated ones from the Lexmark website, but still no luck, same window on startup. Thanks for any help in advance.

Hi Quenlil
Welcome to G2G
Is that the entire error message ?
Did you install a new Lexmark printer ? If yes did you replace an old Lexmark ?
What model printer do you have.

I think the 1st step we need to do is uninstall the printer.
Click on the start button > all programs. Then look for lexmark and see if it has an uninstall. If it has please run the uninstall.
If no uninstall then Click on start >
Control panel > Uninstall program. Do you see any Lexmark programs listed?

Click on Start > Devices & printers > How many things are listed under Printers and faxes ? Once I know the answers to these questions we will uninstall the printer and any software and drivers. Then see how the computer runs. Then reinstall the printer.
But we need to go in steps.
Cheers
Peterm

Just did a total reinstall (removed the old one completely first as suggested) and it seems to be working! Thanks for the help.
