I was able to connect my DVR to my PC monitor and I can see video but I don't hear audio!! I connected the HDMI cable from DVR to PC monitor but what do I connect to hear audio?!? This is a Gateway monitor but I have external speakers connected to my PC. What can I do? My DVR,if this makes any difference,is a Cisco and I have AT&T U-verse;they have been no help at all!!!

If your screen as no integrated speakers you will need to pass your audio through the soundcard of your PC,

You can try with the proper audio adapters to connect your speakers directly into the audio output (probably RCA connectors) of your DVR just make sure you change your DVR audio setting to normal instead of HDMI.

Hope this helps
