my hp presirion laptop shutdown and want turn back on theres no light

theres no lights on-no noises-nothing

nothing happens-no lights/noises-holding power button down for 30 after removing battery and supply doesnt work

holding the scroll/insert button down with power button doesnt work either

any ideas?

Your power supply does it have a light on it?
Does your computer have a light on that states it is plugged in?
