My sister has an HP TouchSmart Tablet PC.
I used to be able to periodically go use it to use their High Speed Internet to download Apps onto my Flash Drive with no problem.

Yesterday, their computer would NOT recognize my Flash Drive in either of its 2 USB slots.

Is there any Setting they could have done that disabled recognition of my Flash Drive?
I noticed when I went to use the computer, it had an iPod hooked up to one of the USB Ports.
Could they perhaps have changed a Setting to allow the iPod to work and now THAT caused my Flash Drive NOT to be recognized?

I didn't ask them because they are NOT computer savvy. Any Settings changes are performed by some Tech Dude.

When I tried my Flash Drive back here on my computer, it worked just fine.
True, I THINK MY old HP Pavilion 6730 has USB 1.0 vs. that Tablet PC's USB 2.0.
But, Hey! All those other times, that Tablet PC used to be able to recognize my Flash Drive.
