PC boots very slow

I just installed a new hard drive in my computer. In addition, I have installed windows 7 in both hard drives. Now when I start up my computer it takes long time to start, about 4 or 5 minutes. The monitor stays all black and when it starts, the monitor is on the screen saver mode.
