Hi,

I've got a user with a Malware issue. I've run TFC and ATF cleaner, and also Sophos Anti-Virus as well as Malware Bytes.

At first Malware Bytes wouldn't run the executable file, till i renamed the file to something else. I've run all tools in safe mode and also ran Bitdefender online virus scanner which found nothing.

Malware Bytes found a few detections and so did Sophos. TFC and ATF cleaner, cleaned up the temp files, but still there is an issue. Please can anyone help. Thanks.

An update with this issue.

It has stopped re-directing to other websites now, but now t just won't navigate back to the previous page.

For example if i google BBC and then go on the BBC homepage, when I click the back button, it doesn't go back to the search results page. So it looks as though it has improved, but there is still something there. I've run out of ideas now, can anyone suggest anything please?

Okay, now another update.

I followed all the instructions from here: http://www.geekstogo...ogle-redirects/
(I should have done this from the beginning)

Now it looks like the virus has gone, but now I can't connect to the internet.

I've checked all IE settings, all seems fine.

I cannot ping any websites either. Destination Host Unreachable.

The computer is on a network and the intranet works. Please can someone help
