Keyboard Virus? PLEASE HELP!

I think I may have some type of keyboard virus. I am not able to type a letter twice in a row and keystrokes now make audible clicks. McAfee online search did not detect anything so hopefully there are other programs that may detect this. Please let me know if anyone can help with this problem. Thank you!
