Hello everyone. I'm having a strange problem with one particular website that will not load for me. The site is http://access.cwhs.com It's the local hospital in town where my wife works and she needs to access her things there, but it will not load. I tried messing around with it last night and noticed that even the main site www.cwhs.com was not working. I googled "cwhs" and the link came right up, but when I tried clicking on it, it wouldn't work. However, if I removed the "www" before the address, it worked fine. Today it works fine either way, but I found it odd. Also, if you go to the main site (http://www.cwhs.com) and down at the bottom click on "FirePass", which is the link to http://access.cwhs.com, it wont work either. I've tried adding "www" in front of access.cwhs.com, but it still isn't working.


We have two computers that we both run Firefox on. The desktop is a Windows XP, the laptop a Windows 7 64-bit. The desktop which is hardwired to the router and the laptop is wireless. http://access.cwhs.com/ does not work on either computer. I've tried completely removing the router and hooking up both computers straight to the modem (not at the same time), and still no luck. I've flushed the DNS cache on both computers, I've restarted both of them in safe mode, I've run Kaspersky and Spybot and it's come up with absolutely nothing, and I've tried different browsers.

Everything else is working completely fine. Every other website I visit works just fine, it's this http://access.cwhs.com that will not work. I know the actual website is loading fine for other people since my wife has called and asked many of her friends. One thing I found interesting as well is that the website loads when using a proxy. I simply cannot figure out what the problem is and would be absolutely grateful if anyone out there has any ideas I could try out. Thanks in advance.

I just wanted to update anyone who may be interested:

The problem fixed itself earlier today. It was so strange how I tried everything I could think of and find on the net to fix it, and it just resolved itself. I'm betting it was an issue with my ISP? Who knows? I just know I'm happy it's working. I know this post isn't very useful as far as solutions or tips, but perhaps someone, someday, will be in the same spot and find this. I guess sometimes you just have to wait it out. It didn't work for about 1 entire day. Hope that helps in any way.
