I have an HP Compaq Presario CQ50-110US. It has an outline for an HDMI port, but the port is covered and it looks like it was only there for other models.

I recently bought a Sony LCD TV Bravia 46 EX701.

I want to be able to hook my computer to my TV, but I am unsure of which components to purchase. I can provide further details if necessary.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
