Runtime error

While on second life my husbands pc got a runtime error ( abnormal program termination)then it knocked him off..then he rebooted ok & then went to log back in SL & the screen looked as though pouring rain...anyone know of what this might be? TIA! Here are 2 photos, explains it better im sure..
