XP Home, I've updated BIOS to A9 (latest), and Dell Inspiron 6000.
I've done a repair installation of Windows XP Home. I've also uninstalled all USB drivers from Device Manager and let them re-detect and re-install. Updated BIOS, Chipset, Network, and Video drivers from the Dell website.
I can connect a Western Digital external harddrive (not thumb, full size external drive) and it works great. Do you have any recommendations for what else I can try? Blue screen happens after the drive is detected and the model is recognized, and then immemidately blue screens.
